| 1 | NOTE (Applicable for all items) :- (i) The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document & all corrigendum / amendments and General conditions of contracts before entrying/quoting the rates. (ii) It is highlighted that the certain condition of General Condition of Contracts (IAFW-2249) has been modified as per direction of MoD i.e. inclusssion of Performance Security, deletion of Risk & Cost Provisions and increase in defect liability period all as per tender documents. The tenderers should keep in mind while quoting their offer. (iii) The bidders/contractors are advised to read tender document & all corrigendum/ amendments and General conditions of contracts before entry/quoting the rates. | ||
| 2 | Maintenance and servicing of 160 KVA DG set of any make Diesel Generator Sets including connected Alternator, Panel Board (AMF/ Non AMF) and carrying out routine 'A' check of the engine complete for smooth functioning all as per manufacturer's instructions and as directed-03 Nos. NOTES: (i) Control switches such as MCCB, Main switch, contactors, multi display meter and engine control unit shall be out of scope of the item of work and the rate quoted shall exclusive of servicing/ maintenance of the above said fittings. (ii) Servicing of DG Set alongwith connected Alternator and Panel Board including 'A' Check of the Engine shall be carried out once in every month (Except during the month when 'B' check is carried out) as directed by the Engineer-in-charge and the contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenance period and he shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for a period of 30 days from the date of service and shall also attend all the maintenance works as and when required in that period except in case of Major repairs. (iii) Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately as supply only rates and cost of labour for fixing these spares shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Cost of all consumables required during the maintenance period shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for this item. (v) List of checks to be carried out under 'A' check is attached as Appendix 'A' to the Particular specifications. | 5.00 | Each Job |
