| 2 | [A] RMU shall be 11 KV, 630 Amps, 21 kA for 3 Seconds, internal Arc 21kA/1Sec, AFLR, SF6 Insulated, motorized, outdoor, 3 Way RMU, left side extensible, right side metering unit, SACADA compatible overload and earth fault protection relay (Ashidha / CSPDR) with air insulated bus connected metering unit (Type +VVV+M), type tested in line with latest IEC Standards, suitable for operations at the altitude and temperature prevailing at Kiari (site location). Switchgear and busbar shall all be contained in a Stainless Steel Enclosure. All live parts, busbars and connections of RMU shall be enclosed in one SF6 tank to avoid multiple interconnections. SF6 Tank shall be sealed for life robotically welded non-magnetic and non-ferrite stainless steel Grade 304 of minimum 2.5mm thick having IP67 Degree of protection filled with SF6 gas as insulation with leakage rate, nominal operating gas pressure 1.3 BAR @ 20 Deg C, manual welding or hermetic sealing of tank shall have site replaceable bushing for ease of trouble shooting during breakdown. RMU Tank shall provide full Insulation and Switchgear shall be insensitive to the environment with degree of protection of IP67. Switchgear operating mechanism shall have an IP2X Protection and Cable Chamber shall have IP3X Protection. Outer Enclosure shall be IP 54 type tested. Painting (FRONT COVER RMU: RAL7035 & (FOR MIMIC RAL7043)) & ENCLOSURE: RAL7035 & (TOP COVER & BASE STAND IN RAL 7043)). The unit shall be internal arc proof 21kA for 1 sec with AFLR classification tested and totally safe for human beings. The gas release & personnel safety from internal arc shall not depend on plinth design. The release of gas to be from the top of the unit, so that, even if the person is operating the unit, opening the cover & there are personnels near the sides of the RMU/ plinth, top release will ensure their safety. The hot gas release, in case of an internal arc, in no case shall be from any side or bottom of the unit, as the same is unsafe for the operating personnel/ pedestrian or general public. Bidder shall provide type test report to prove compliance to the Internal Arc fault IAC-AFLR as per IEC 62271-200. [a] An operator situated in front, lateral and rear [A-FLR 21 kA 1 Sec, Downwards Exhaust, for Tank as well as Cable Compartment] of the RMU Switch board during an internal fault shall not be exposed to the effects of Arcing. Internal Arc Type Test Report for IAC AFLR 21 kA for 1 Sec for both Tank & Cable Box shall be for minimum as per OEM standards.
