| 1 | SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT AND COMPREHENSIVE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION: (Comprising of Item No 1.00 to 1.07 in Phase-I & II) PHASE-I : (ITEM No. 01.00 to 84.02 except item No 1.06 & 1.07) Design, supply, construction, installation, testing, commissioning and comprehensive maintenance and operations of the STP for 10 years after completion of fully advanced automatic Sewage Treatment Plant of 120 KLD capacity based on MBBR technology and process with tertiary treatment complete based on following parameters and including all civil and electrical works after end of sewage line till end of tertiary treatment and including the raw sewage collection tank and treated water storage tank complete all as specified here in below and in particular specifications and as directed. (a) The raw sewage to be treated shall be domestic sewage. | 2 | (b) The STP shall have following major components but not limited to only following components and all components as requried for a functional STP shall be deemed to be included in the scope of work:- (i) Raw sewage collection tank (ii) Fine bar screen (iii) Oil and grease trap (iv) Equalization tank (v) Anoxic chamber (vi) Air blower (vii) MBBR (viii)Tube settler (ix) Sludge holding tank/sump (x) Tertiary treatment components (xi) Sludge dewatering arrrangments including screw press or similar arrangement (xii) Treated water storage tank | ||
| 3 | (c ) All components / tanks of the STP shall be constructed in RCC with minimum M 30 grade concrete using sulphate resisting portland cement as per IS 12330 with permanent specifications including foundations etc.complete (d) All pumping arrangements shall be in 01 Working + 01 Standby mode of adequate capacity. (e)The STP shall be provided with electro magnetic flow meters, valves, pressure gauges and bypass arrangements for emergency operation as per design and as on requirement basis. (f) Side channel type Air blower having adequate capacity (01 Working + 01 Standby) coupled with suitable motor, for providing air. Air rotameter is to be provided in each line for measurement of quantity of air. (g) SS Basket fine screen of suitable capacity shall be fitted at the inlet of Oil & Grease Trap chamber. (h) Oil & Grease Trap Chamber shall be provided having suitable size with auto decanter. (j) Diffusers with mounting/fixing stands of latest technology and adequate capacity in stainless steel of minimum SS 304 grade shall be provided wherever required (k) All Pumping arrangement and functional mechanism, technology as required for a complete operational plant shall be provided. (l) Filteration system:- Automatic filteration system AMPV (automatic multiport valve), starter panel +PSF+Filter feed pump (1w+1s) with a flow rate 1cu.m /hr with chlorine disinfection shall be provided. | ||
| 4 | (m) One no. PLC SCADA electrical control Panel for operation of all electromechanical units of sewage treatment plant, with interconnecting cables shall be provided. (n) A PLC control shall be provided for monitoring, control, recording, and logging etc. for STP. This shall consist of PLC based SCADA system with following characteristics. (i) All the treatment Units shall be designed for manual & automatic operation through PLC and SCADA based system with PC based systems and peripheries. (ii) Provision shall be made to operate each process Unit manually, if required. All the essential Drives shall be provided with standby arrangements. (iii) The control system shall be selectable to either Local (Manual) or Automatic or Remote Manual modes. Annunciation shall be provided on the HMI. All electrically actuated valves shall be operated from HMI through PLC/SCADA. (iv) The Panel shall consist of following devices - PLC with integral alarm annunciator & all required hardware and software - PC based SCADA system with all required hardware, software and peripheries. - Power supply modules. - Surge protection units. - Indicator for level, pressure and flow. - Selector switches for selection of Normal mode, flush mode, score mode and drives and various other modes as per process design requirements. - Push buttons. - MCBs. - Any other item required for functioning of the system. - Input/ Output Modules :Standard rack mounted I/O modules with plug-in cards shall be provided. Field wiring shall be terminated in screwed terminal and interconnected to the processor I/O system with pre-fabricated cables with plug-in type connectors. | ||
| 5 | (o) One set of online monitoring system for BOD, COD, TSS, pH, complete with all accessories. (p) Comprehensive maintenance and operation of STP commissioned during two years of defect liability period shall be included in the rates quoted for this item. The scope of comprehensive maintenance and operation shall be same as given for comprehensive maintenance and operation after defect liability period in BOQ items and specifications. (q) The soil report for design of STP shall be provided by GE. The sub soil stratification comprises of top subsoil is poorly graded Gravels-sand mix with little fines followed by greyish highly weathered over consolidated basalt rock fragment. The recommended safe bearing capacity (minimum) for RCC isolated footing of size 1.5x1.5 is 20 T/M at a depth of 1.5 mtr and 25 T/M at a depth of 2.0 mtr. (r) As far as possible all major components of STP shall be above ground level only. (s) The different components of STP shall be connected with proper PCC walkways of minimum 1.0 meter width for movement of men and material for future maintenance. All components shall have PCC walkway of minimum 1.0 meter width on all sides. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of these provisions. (t) Pumping from collection sump shall be automated based on level of sewage. Design of collection sump to be as CPHEEO Manual for Sewerage and Sewage Disposal 2013. Area drainage of STP to be ensured. (u) A lab shall also be established alongwith requisite fascilities for testing & monitoring as specified. Space for establishment of lab shall be given by GE. |
