| 1 | AMC / Outsourcing the resources for Monitoring, Management, and Operation of water supply management system. It includes providing the manpower 01 No. company trained technician once in a month (OEM of PLC Panels and Motorized Valves) for successful working of the system under GE(I)(AF) Shillong complete all as specified and directed. | 2 | Comprehensive maintenance shall include the following: (a) Servicing and maintenance /repair and replacement of defective components /spare parts with new one of PLC based control panels including all accessories modem, antenna etc. installed at various pump houses, OHTs and Master control station. (b) Repair/maintenance by disconnecting, cleaning, greasing for wear and tear, complete servicing, refixing, lathing, installing and commissioning as directed by Engineer-in-Charge of all motorised valves, pressure transmitters, magnetic level sensors. (c) Any changes to the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), e.g. Changes in ladder logic of programme, changes in operational timing, etc. (limited to the scope of items covered under this AMC). (d) Any changes to the SCADA software, e.g. Changes in report format, changes in operational screens, creation of soft keys etc. (limited to the scope of items covered under this AMC). (e) Attending break down maintenance and replacement of unserviceable spare parts with new ones as required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge | ||
| 3 | Notes: - 1. All components/spare parts replaced covered under "SPARES" shall be of the same make as specified in Particular Specifications and model / cat as per the existing and shall be measured and paid seperatly under relevant items of this BOQ and fixing charges shall be deemed to be included in this item. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account.The additional parts required for smooth and efficient operation/replacement etc for system other than the spares in the BOQ shall be replaced with new ones without any extra cost. 2. Servicing of Motorised valve, PLC based control Panels, communication Panels, Mimic Panels shall be carried out by authorized representative of M/s Universal Switch Gear Control. The technician shall submit a letter from the manufacturer as proof of his being a authorized representative of the manufacturer. The technician shall also submit a signed report on original letterhead of the manufacturer that servicing has been carried out by him. | ||

The programmer shall submit a letter from the manufacturer as proof of his being an authorized representative of the manufacturer. The programmer shall also submit a signed report on original letterhead of the manufacturer that servicing has been carried out by him. 4. Repairs to pump sets, starters, controls, valves etc are not in the scope of work. Un-serviceabililty of the same shall be intimated to the concerned JE/ Engineer-In-Charge E/M for repairs. In such situation the breakdwon period before the pumpsets put into working condition will not be considered as default of the contractor. | ||
| 5 | All the notes given vide 1.02, 1.03 above shall also be read in conjunction with the following: (A) The repair and maintenance of SCADA system should be done through OEM (M/s Universal Switch Gear Control) or through the authorised service provider of the OEM. (B) Before acceptance of tender, the successful bidder shall submit a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) from OEM in a non-judicial stamp paper of Rs 10.00 duly notorised with an undertaking stating that execution of all SCADA related items of work shall be carried out under technical support and guidance of OEM. |
