| 1 | M&L for mobilization of necessary equipment & manpower at site of work to carry out plate load test for determination of K value or CBR values as required of soil in the field in accordance to IS 9214-1979, complete in all respect, as specified & directed with & including following operation:- (a) Digging out pit of desired size & depth. (b) Placing & arranging the load platform, loading & unloading platform by sand bags or any other approved weights, as per requirement & recording the settlement data with 03 Nos of dial gauge in horizontal plain placed at 120 degree, using hydraulic jack with proving ring & dial gauze of least count 0.002 mm & submission of report in sixtuplicate determing modulus of subgrade reaction K value or by any other recommended method as approval by IS code complete all as specified and directed by the engineer in charge. | 2 | Notes:- The quoted rates shall deemed to be included of followings:- (a) Drilling bore holes 150mm dia in any type of soil and sample collection for SBC and testing at required locations as directed upto a minimum a depth of 10m from EGL or upto hard strata whichever occurs earlier. (b) Conduct of SPT at every 1.5m interval or change of strata which ever occurs earlier and Collection of turbed/undisturbed (UD) soil samples(a minimum gap of 500mm shall be ensured between SPT and collection of UDS). (c) Carrying out laboratory tests at NABL certified lab on the collected soil samples like Visiual and engineering classification,seive analysis and hydrometer analysis with graphs, atterberg limits, voids ratio, field moisture content, determination of cohesion and angular friction values using Direct shear (Drained/Undrained) on (remoulded/undisturbed sample) or triaxial compression tests(on undisturbed or remoulded) or vane shear test etc if any as per relevent IS codes (d) Carrying out laboratary tests on rock samples/ cores collected from bore holes like Visual classification, density, specific gravity, hardness, slake durability, Uniaxial compression test( both saturated and unsaturated), Point load strength index, RQD etc (if, any) as per relevent IS codes. (e) Preparation of report for soil safe bearing capacity (SBC) including recommendations for foundation and submission of reports. (f) Quoted rates shall be inclusive of cost of mobilization and demobolisatiiion and shifting of necessary equipments after completion of work. |
