(b) 2nd Course : APP (Atactic Polypropylene) modified polymeric membrane, 5 layered, 3 mm thick weight not less than 3.0 Kg/Sqm with 150 Grams/Sqm non woven polyester made at centre core reinforced laid with 75 mm side overlap and 150 mm end overlap, membrane has to be laid with LPG torch and overlap sealed and finished neat, all joints. (c) 3rd Course : Apply a coat of hot blown 85/25 grade bitumen conforming to IS-702 @ 1.2 Kg/sqm over membrane and dusted with dry sand @ 0.50 to 1 Kg/sqm. (i) On Non-accesible roof : After providing (a) to (c) provide aluminium paint as per manufacturer instructions. (ii) Coved fillet in PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (using 12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) of required radius 75mm shall be provided at the junction of roof and vertical surface such as parapet wall/mumty around opening and treatment mentioned above shall be applied followed by a cement plaster 20mm thick in cement mortar(1:6).
