| 1 | M&L for preventive maintenance of fire alarm system complete conventional / Addressable type at technical area AFS Ambala having smoke, heat, multi detector, beam detector, Addressable module, manual call point, addressable electronic sounder cum strobe, short circuit isolator, electronic siren, PA system complete with quarterly checkup of entire system and unlimited breakdown calls complete all as specified & directed. Note :- (i) The entire fire alarm system shall be tested by representative of Accepting Officer after completion of repair as per relevant IS in the presence of the user GE and Engr-in-Charge. Contractor shall request for testing through GE. (ii) The spare parts required to be replaced will be measured and paid seperately. (iii) The programming of panel, if required, is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (iv) The unserviceability noticed of fire alarm system shall be attended with in 72 hours ( after reported by JE / Engineeer in charge) failing which a sum of Rs 1000/- per day shall be recovered from the contractor. (v) The preventive maintenance of fire alarm system under this contract shall be done through rep of OEM only. (vi) The contractor shall carry out routine checking of the complete fire alarm system and rectify the minor/major defect noticed during checking immediately. Cleaning of Panel & detector once in a quarter for smooth functioning and making the maintenance register for above maintenance and one separate register to be maintained by the contractor. The register will be signed by Engr-in-Charge /JE (E/M) and user rep after rectifying the defect. (vii) Contractor shall rectify the defect between 0700 Hrs to 1500 Hrs. (viii) The payment shall be made after succeesuful completion of the quarter and one complete site will be measured as one unit.
