| 3 | M & L for water proofing treatment over RCC roof slab with the following specification complete all as specified and as directed :- (i) Removing all loose gravel, dirt, oil, grease and foreign materials by jet or dry air, cleaning the surfaces mechanically or by grinding to make the surface smooth and rendering 10mm thick cement mortar (1:3) including finishing even & smooth without using etc cement and let to dry. (ii) Applying compatible oil bound bitumen primer @ 0.30 Kg/Sqm (iii) Laying 3 mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane weighing not less than 3.8 kg/sqm reinforced with non woven polyester matt weighing not less than 150 gm /sqm having softening point not less than 140 centigrade, having tensile strength of 650N /sqm and 350 N/sqm in longitudinal and transverse directions respectively of the reinforced tearing strength of 180N by torch application with minimum 10cm side overlap and 15cm end lap. (iii) Applying a coat of blown grade hot bitumen 85/25 over the membrane @ 1.2 Kg /Sqm top of membrane surface shall then be finished with solar reflective bituminious aluminium paint @ 0.10 Kg/Sqm (Note : (i) Supply only liquid water proofing shall be paid seperately under relevent items.
