| 1 | Dismantling the electric induction motor AC 3 Phase, capacity up to 5HP, 440 V, 1440 RPM, 50Cycle of any make and type from the foundation and pump after disconnecting electric cable connection and earthing etc. and transportation to civil workshop for repair/rewinding, strip opening the motor and removing of defective burnt winding, rewinding the motor after cleaning the rotor and starter with super enameled copper winding wire of suitable turn and gauge as per the original with proper insulation including varnishing, providing all high grade material and class B varnish for insulation, reassembling the complete motor and re-fixing at site with electric cable connection, earthing and testing the motor on full load at site after coupling the pump for its serviceability up to entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Note :- (i) Super enameled copper winding wire shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ in supply only. (ii) Ball bearing if replaced shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ in supply only. (iii) The T & P/vehicles shall be arranged by the contractor and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates. | 15 | Each Job |

| 5 | Disconnecting the pumping sets of capacity up to 5 HP any make and model from motor and all water connections and removing/taking up from foundation, taking to civil workshop for repair/strip opening and repairing of pumping sets by changing the defective/unserviceable parts such as bearing, shaft, impeller, bush, Gland plate etc. complete. Reassembling including oiling, greasing replacement of worn out nuts, bolts, gasket, glands etc and re-fixing in its original position at site, making all connections, commissioning and testing etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i). Ball bearing, shaft, impeller, bush, Gland plate & stuffing box packing etc replaced as per requirement shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ in supply only. (ii) The rates for minor repair, all other minor items essential for functioning of pump are deemed to be included in the quoted rates.
