| 1 | Taking down, servicing, refixing, and testing of storage type water heaters (Geysers) of 25, 35, and 50 litres capacity by carefully disconnecting the existing water supply and electrical connections, unscrewing/cutting holding bolts, nuts, or fasteners from the wall, removing the geyser, opening the tank for inspection and repair, and refixing the same after servicing. The work shall include inspection, rectification of defects, reinstallation, and testing of the repaired geyser (of any make, type, and capacity) for proper functioning. The scope shall include attending to defects such as air lock, water leakage at pipeline joints, replacement of GI nipples wherever required, replacement of minor electrical components such as indication lamps and fuse plugs (if found defective), checking and tightening of loose electrical connections inside and outside the geyser, and making good the installation complete in all respects, as specified and directed.
Notes:
(a) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of minor consumables and accessories such as GI nipples, fuse plugs, indication lamps, and steel fasteners of 10 mm diameter 100 mm length, wherever required.
