| 1 | NOTE FOR ALL PAINTING ITEMS :- The work for periodical services shall include the following and the rates quoted by the bidders shall include the same: (a) The work pertaining to periodical services shall be executed by the contractor as per MoU from authorised applicator through manufacturer of all the materials after approval by the GE. (b) The Contractor shall upload with the documents under cover I "Memorandum of Understanding" (MOU) with at least one of the manufacturers mentioned in the contract, stating that work will be done by the OEM s machinery and their supervision and has OEM s guarantee of minimum five years failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected. (c) Use of Scaffolding (in multi-storey building), trestles, ladders, cradles etc necessary for execution of work and protective measures. (d) Removing of Nails, making good holes, cracks etc (e) Work in patches and in narrow /widths, bands, cornices, plasters etc and cutting in edge of line where necessary. (f) Spreading and removing covering to doors, windows, floors, fittings etc to protect them from splashes. (g) Washing floors, cleaning glass, joinery, electric fittings, wirings etc. Drops and splashes of paint to be cleaned to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge. (h) Sample patch of 10sqm be prepared considering all the items of periodical and shall be got approved from GE prior to carrying out further work. (j) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietary materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (k) Contractor shall submit certificate from OEM before processing each RAR stating that work was done with the OEM s tools and material and has been done under their supervision. | ||
