| 2 | The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor before and during execution of the samrt periodical work :- (1) The tenderer is instructed to keep in mind while quoting their rates that smart and express painting procedure to be followed under the scope of work. (2) All the express painting equipment of approved branded companies as per site requirement i.e. heavy duty extendable dry wall sander with vaccum bag, Hand held sander with vaccum bag, high pressure jet washer , Multi purpose mixer , auto roller , airless paint sprey machine etc. and any other equipment as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. (3) Contractor may take approval for hiring above mentioned equipment from approved manufacturing firm or from different firms in consultation with approved manufacturing firm to ensure availablity of all smart & express painting equipment at site under the terms of guarentee of approved firm. (4) OEM representative to visit site of work along with authorised applicator & Engineer-In-charge, examine scope of work and terms & conditions, suggest hindrence in contract if any to MES and then contractor will prepare Tripartite MoU between OEM ,Contractor & MES prescribing role of EACH parties .OEM representative shall again visit the site before issuing guarantee and during completion of work to contractor from MES. (5) All the painting works shall be got executed through original material approved manufacturing company or their authorised applicators with minimum 02yrs experience of smart periodical work as approved by GE and contractor should submit tripartite MoU (as mentioned above) applicator's experience certificate alongwith & performence guarentee otherwise recovary of Rs. @ 2000 per week will be made from contractor's dues from the date of commencement of work. Entire work shall be got executed with the approved firm. All the material of smart periodical is to be precured only from approved firm and as mentioned against EACH items. (6) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of material in two phases (i.e. 50% in EACH phase) in sealed containers required for painting works covered in this contract under the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (7) Smart periodical work to be executed in sequential stages and all the stages to be got approved from GE / Engineer-In-Charge. Stage passing register duly signed to be kept in record. (8) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (9) Applicator / his working team must wear manufacturing company dress and follow all PPEs such as wear safety helmet , safety boots , face mask , Safety belt Aluminium telescopic ladder scaffolding while working as per latest safety guidelines. (10) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses & joinery using professional equipments and disinfect complete room as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge . The cost of the same is deemed to be included in tenderer's quoted rates. (11) Recovary @ cost of material shall be done from contractor if any material found lying on site after completion of work as per manufacturer's instruction and quality satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge. Approved OEM must give guarantee of minimum 05 yrs and that must be mentioned in Tripartite MoU submitted to the department before commencement of work. 20% of payment will be reserved for submission of OEM guarentee against item No 1 to 11 . (12) OEM for this work will only be branded material manufacturing company i.e. Asian / Berger / Nerolac and all materials of similar make as approved by GE. The quoted rates of contractor shall include providing and fixing granite stone slab wall cladding of required size at approved location in EACH bldg where smart periodical is executed engraved with, Name of work, Name of (13) Contractor, contract No, date of commencement, date of completion & period of guarentee with date . (14) Smart periodical work under item No 1 to 11 will be carried out using approved OEM smart & express painting equipments as mentioned in (2) and as appended below :- | ||

| 5 | M&L for applying waterproof cement based putty @ 0.5 Kg(undiluted) per sq mtr. of average thickness 1.5mm in two coats on prepared wall (External / internal ) and ceiling surfaces as per sr item No 2 above in following steps:- Step-1) Filling cracks in wall using crack seal compound Asian smart care crack seal or equivalent. Step 2) Mix the putty powder @ 0.5 kg/sqm by adding 35 to 40% water by volume or as per approved manufacturer's instructions and mix it with electric putty mixer. Step 3) Apply the first coat of the prepared mix in bottom to top configuration. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry putty surface. Step-4) Apply the second coat of the prepared mix in horizontal configuration. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry putty surface then prepare the surface complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) Primer shall be measured and paid saperately under relevant item. (ii) Make :- Berger Homeshield waterproof putty , Asian paint smartcare waterproof putty, Nerolac Perma waterproof putty, Berger Homshield waterproof putty.
