| 2 | Maintenance and general servicing to switchgear (VCB/RMU(up to 7 ways)/CSS as one unit) carrying out insulation resistance testing, CRM testing, 3 pole timing testing with transportation under AMC carrying out overhauling, calibration by using suitable test kits, and cleaning the switch gear terminals / moving parts of electric / mechanically with suitable cleaning agents in all respects by taking care of reference drawings & specifications of OEM, attending complaints on faults on faulty/requirement/emergency calls of any type within the contract period and testing to VCB/protection relay by disconnecting, opening of indoor/out door type VCB/RMU (Make : Crompton / Megawin / Yamuna Denson / ABB Ltd, Alsthom /Schneider/L&T) of any technical specification of 33/11 KV grade VCB current rating 400/630/800/1250 Amps (In/out going feeders) checking, examining complete VCB in terms of electrical and mechanical respects after complete servicing with reference to OEM drawings with automatic facilitated operating features, and review the control switches with wiring and replacement of minor spares like fuses, wires, terminals/blocks and removing/replace unserviceable / defective spare parts with new spares under relevant items, reassembling the VCB complete in all respects up to serviceability state of switch gear to satisfactory of Engr-In-charge complete all a specified and directed. | 14.00 | Each Job |
| 3 | Note for Item1 : (i) Replacement of unserviceable parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of Sch 'A' as supply only but fixing charges of the parts replaced /repaired is deemed to be included in the item rate. (ii) Servicing shall be got carried out through a approved agency of any state/Central govt CEI (chief electrical Inspectorate) and RMU up to 7 ways/CSS of any type (compact sub station allied with VCB's) is consider as one unit. (iii) Engineer shall consider instructions of OEM specifications, drawings to carryout repair/servicing. The service engineer shall submit a service report and calibration certificate for each VCB/RMU/CSS. (iv) Any minor item not included in CA and required for successful operation of the panel will be provided by the contractor & same shall deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (v) Penalty shall be imposed in case of failing to attend the complaint lodged of any mode within 24 Hours @ Rs 1000/- fault for each day cumulatively and same shall be deducted from his dues within contract period. | ||
