| 2 | Dismantling of existing bridge components including RCC deck slab, wearing coat, kerbs, crash barriers, RCC/PSC girders, diaphragms, pier caps, pier shafts, abutments or any other structural elements, complete in all respects as per Ministry of Road Transport and Highways Specifications (Section 202 & relevant clauses) and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The work shall include: Careful dismantling using mechanical means such as hydraulicbreakers, jack hammers, concrete cutters, diamond wire saw cutting machines,etc. Lifting and removal of girders using suitable heavy lifting equipment such as hydraulic cranes, crawler cranes, truck-mounted cranes, gantry systems,strand jacks, chain pulley blocks, winches, or any other npproved equipment.Providing temporary supports, staging, cribbing, bracing arrangements to ensure structural stability during dismantling. Cutting of reinforcement/PSC strands (where required) using approved methods ensuring safety. Lowering. stacking, salvaging (if specified), and disposal of dismantled materials including loading, unloading, and transportation up to all leads and lifts Traffic management arrangements, barricading, diversion, signage, and safety precautions during execution. Re-handling, shifting, placing, aligning, and fixing/re-installation of girders at designated locations, wherever required, to proper line, level, and camber as per drawings and EIC instructions. The itemshall include all labour, machinery, tools & tackles, fuel, consumables, scaffolding, insurance, safety measures, and incidentals necessary to complete | | |
