| 5 | M&L for providing water proofing treatment of sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying cement slurry mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound coating of make as approval in Technical Instruction 5/2003 by adding :- (a) 15mm thick plaster (1:4) cement sand mortar with integral water proofing compound 2% by weight of cement on floor and wall / beam, finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement. The surface shall then be cured and allowed to dry. (Note : Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately). (b) First layer of slurry of cement @0.5 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.25 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs. (c) Second layer of slurry of cement @0.25 kg/sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.15 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs followed with water curing for 48 hrs. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.
