The cost on account of job mix design and testing of bitumen and road materials shall be borne by the contractor [c] The binder content mentioned above is minimum/ tentative and shall be provided as per actual job mix design. | 5 | Premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber consolidated thickness 75 mm or less with paving bitumen content of 4% by weight of total mix any penetration etc., complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Contractor shall quote this rate by considering 4% binder content. If the bitumen content works out to be less than 4% as per job mix formula, the amount shall be recovered for the lesser content of bitumen at the rate of Rs.50/Kg.However there will not be any adjustment on plus side if the bitumen content is more than 4%.
