The Electrode Shall Be Operatable On Ac As Well As Dc In Which Dc +ve Is Mandatory. Packing Condition Shall Be As Per Clause 5.1.1 Of Irs M-28/2002. The Pre-heating Temperature& Duration Shall Be Specified On The Electrode Packets (carton). The Shelf Life Of The Electrode Shall Be 12 Months From The Date Of Receipt In Stores Or 18 Months From The Date Of Manufacture, Whichever Is More.
