| 4 | M&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel plate elecrode of size 60 cm x 60cm x 6.0 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 m below the ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.50 m below ground level. Earthing plate surrounded by 15cm thick packed alternative layers of charcoal dust and common salt, connected with GI wire of dia 4mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron with thimbles at one end and the other end connected to main switch board and protected by 40mm dia bore medium grade GI pipe. Provision of 20mm dia bore light grade GI pipe for watering including GI funnel and wire mesh. The pipe shall be provided vertically upto top level of earthing pit and then taken horizontally to the equipment. Provisionn of cement concrete chamber of iinternal size 300x300x300mm with PCC (1:3:6 ) type C-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate), constructed at 1.00 m metre away from edge of earthing pit with 50 mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars @ 150mm C/C including all necessary earthwork in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1 (2009) and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
