| 1 | Note: (i) The contractor or his authorized representative shall report daily to the Complaint Cell for collection of complaints and The contractor shall be required to attend complaints as and when intimated by the department through complaint slip , VYNUS , telephone or any otherauthorised means of communication .If it is not possible to rectify the same within timeline specified below, the matter along with detailed reasons shall immediately be brought to the notice of the Engineer-in-Charge by the contractor or his representative. If the Engineer-in-Charge is satisfied with the justification furnished, no recovery shall be effected on this account. (ii) (a) All No Light / Power Supply complaints shall be attended to and rectified within 01 hour, commencing from the date and time of issue/intimation of the complaint. Failure to attend the complaint within the stipulated period shall attract a penalty of Rs. 120/- for delay up to 04 hours and Rs. 240/- for delay beyond 04 hours, which shall be recovered from the contractor's dues. (b) All other routine maintenance complaints covered under the contract shall be attended to and rectified within 24 hours, commencing from the date and time of issue/intimation of the complaint. In case the complaint is not rectified within the stipulated period, a penalty of Rs. 120/- per complaint per day or part thereof shall be recovered from the contractor's dues.. However, labour charges for items covered under M&L , S&F , and In Repair shall be deemed to be included in the respective quoted rates. (iii) Items under this contract are of day-to-day nature and the complete scope/site cannot be forecast or handed over to the contractor at one time. The contractor shall therefore arrange adequate manpower, materials, and resources as per site requirements. In case the contractor fails to provide the required skilled labour in accordance with the contract provisions, suitable recoveries/penalties shall be levied as applicable. | ||
| 2 | (iv) In addition to the above, the contractor shall arrange and maintain all necessary T&P required for execution of the work, such as die sets (1/2" to 1") washers of all sizes, safeda, thread(soot) , M-seal, screws, nails, plugs, grease, putty, welding rods, portable welding machine, drilling machine with bits and the like, including necessary form work, scaffolding and safety measures complete to make the system functional and leak proof including necessary safety measures, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (v) The cost of all the above arrangements, obligations, T&P, consumables, labour, safety measures, and incidental requirements shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of the respective items and no extra payment whatsoever shall be admissible on this account. | ||
