| 1 | COMPREHENSIVE OPERATION & MAINTENANCE Of Existing Prefabricated packaged/Portable Container based WWTP of 25 KLD capacity and all other allied works/structures etc. The O & M includes daily operation of STP including all cost of labour, consumables, chemicals, repair/replacement of E & M parts, Deployment of operators and technicians, Regular cleaning of screens, tanks, channels, pipelines, and dewatering of sludge from sludge holding tanks to sludge drying beds, Refilling and monitoring of MBBR bio-media, logbook maintenance, flow meter maintenance/replacement whenever required, Compliance with environmental norms, including assistance during site visits/inspections etc. as required all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-charge. Payment to agency shall be released on quarterly basis on pro rata bases. No payment shall be made on account of any escalation of prices. Duties during O & M, plant shall be run 24/7. Testing of treated water quality as per CPCB/SPCB norms on quarterly basis or as per direction of Engineer-In-charge. The scope of item includes comprehensive maintenance for the STP including all spared supply and consumables. Non-compliance of O & M requirement shall make the agency liable for recovery from the security deposit/performance guarantee and/or BG with DDA. | ||

| 4 | Terms and conditions:- (i) All tools, minor consumables, lubricants, testing kits, etc., shall be arranged by the contractor. (ii) Electricity required for plant operation shall be provided by the department free of cost. (iii)The agency shall be responsible for ensuring continuous supply of raw water required for the operation of the STP, including water for cleaning, backwashing of filters, and any other process-related requirements. (iv)The plant must be kept in continuous operational condition ensuring treated effluent meets prescribed discharge norms. (v) The agency shall ensure safe work practices and proper handling of chemicals. vi) In the event of failure to provide O&M services resulting in non-functioning of the STP, and if the plant is not restored within 48 hours, a penalty of 2,500/- per day shall be imposed for each day of delay attributable to the agency, excluding delays caused by Force Majeure. vii)The agency shall be deemed to have inspected all the sites and assessed the existing condition/status of the STP/WWTP systems before quoting the rates and no claim whatsoever shall be entertained later on account of any plant being non-functional, partially functional, idle, choked, damaged or requiring initial servicing/repairs for commissioning. viii)The successful agency shall take over the plants on as is where is basis and shall be responsible for revival (If needed), operation and smooth functioning of all the STP/WWTP units covered under the contract irrespective of their present operational status at the time of handing over. ix)The quoted rates shall be inclusive of routine servicing, cleaning, sludge removal, sewer line cleaning, repair/replacement of consumables, servicing of pumps/motors and all allied activities required for making the plants operational and maintaining the same during the contract period, and no extra payment on this account shall be admissible. x) In case of any local hindrance, public interference or restricted operation of sewer pumps/motors, the contractor shall coordinate with the Engineer-in-Charge and concerned stakeholders for smooth functioning of the system and no idle charges or extra claim shall be entertained on this account. Submission of tender shall be treated as unconditional acceptance of all site conditions and no request for handing over the plants in fully running condition shall be entertained at any stage. |
