The Wireman Helper shall preferably possess basic knowledge of electrical works and shall assist the Electrician/Skilled Assistant in attending shift duties, carrying out routine inspections, cleaning of panels and equipment, cable dressing, replacement of minor electrical accessories, and other allied works. The duties shall include assisting in fault identification, attending breakdown calls, restoration of power supply, handling of tools and materials, and maintaining proper housekeeping in electrical rooms, substations, and service areas. The Wireman Helper shall strictly follow all safety instructions, use prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE), and comply with all statutory safety norms and site instructions issued by the Engineer-in-Charge. The duty hours, shift pattern, and nature of duties of the Wireman Helper shall be decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and may be modified as per site requirements. | 3 | OD265113/2025-2026:Supply of one Electrician possessing a valid ITI/ITC certificate in the Electrician trade with a minimum of two (2) years relevant experience during the AMC period for attending shift duties as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The nature, timing, and schedule of duties of the Electrician shall be decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and may be altered from time to time as per site requirements. The Electrician shall be responsible for the routine operation, maintenance, and upkeep of electrical installations, DG sets, lighting systems, PA system and fire protection systems, ensuring that all electrical and allied systems are maintained in safe and working condition at all times. The duties shall include continuous monitoring of installations; diagnosing electrical faults; repairing or replacing defective components; attending to petty repairs; responding promptly to breakdown calls; and restoring power supply as and when required. The Electrician shall act swiftly during breakdowns and shall assess and report to the Engineer-in-Charge whether the fault can be rectified immediately or whether shutdown of services is required, including an estimate of the expected downtime. The Electrician shall carry out periodic inspections and maintenance of existing and new electrical services, including single-phase and three-phase systems (120 V, 240 V, and 480 V or equivalent), wiring, conduits, panels, circuit breakers, contactors, relays, timers, and control systems. The scope of work shall also include installation, replacement, and maintenance of light fixtures, switches, receptacles, wiring, and other electrical accessories, as well as operation of standard electrical tools, testing instruments, power tools, and equipment required for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities. The Electrician shall maintain all prescribed records, log books, inspection registers, and breakdown reports, and submit the same to the Engineer-in-Charge as required. The Electrician shall provide guidance and assistance to Wireman Helpers, Skilled Assistants, and other maintenance staff assigned to the electrical works, and shall perform any other related duties entrusted by the Engineer-in-Charge or management in the interest of smooth operation of the installations. The Electrician shall be available to work in all three shifts. The nature, timing, and schedule of duties of the Skilled Assistant shall be decided by the Engineer-in-Charge and may be modified from time to time as per site requirements. The Skilled Assistant shall be responsible for the operation, routine monitoring, and preventive maintenance of air-conditioning and ventilation systems, including VRV/VRF units, split air conditioners, package units, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation fans, and associated electrical and control systems. The duties shall include checking refrigerant pressures and temperatures, electrical parameters, belts, filters, drain lines, and control wiring; attending to minor repairs and leakages; assisting in major repairs and breakdown rectification and coordinating with OEMs or authorized service agencies for major repairs, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The Skilled Assistant shall maintain all prescribed log books, checklists, and maintenance records related to HVAC systems and shall submit reports as and when required. The Skilled Assistant shall strictly adhere to all safety norms, and site instructions, including safe handling of refrigerants and compliance with electrical safety practices.
