| 1 | SUB SOIL INVESIGATION : Sub soil investigation as per IS: 1892-1979 (Reaffirmed 2021) including laboratory testing of soil samples for its all characteristics as per relevant IS codes including value of cohesion and angle of internal friction of soil giving bore log chart showing depth of soil strata/profile. SBC shall be based on N values, shear and settlement criteria. SPT shall be carried out for every changes in stratum or at intervals not more than 1.0m whichever is less. Depth of investigation shall be 15.00m or till refusal or N value reaches 50 wherever is earlier for each isolated, conbined/raft foundation. Soil investigation report for each bore hole tested and duly compiling summary of SBC recommended for various buildings in all respect shall be submitted in four folders duly vetted by CSTL/ IIT/NIT . Depth of water table (maximum & minimum) shall be given. Design parameters for soil investigation are as under. The soil investigation reprot shall be include the liquefaction potential of the soil.
