| 4 | Attending complaints of internal water supply pipes, fittings and bottle traps for removal of blockages, leakages, air locks, deterioration of concealed/exposed pipes and fittings, and other defects of any description, including clearing of choke/air lock by pressure pump or any other suitable means, taking down carefully and refixing of pipes and fittings, and replacing old/unserviceable pipes and fittings with new ones wherever required, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
The work shall include checking, dismantling, servicing, testing and restoring the water supply system to proper functional condition, including rectification of minor leakage complaints and allied works complete.
Note: The quoted rate shall be deemed to include cost of all labour, tools & plants, consumables, thread, PTFE tape, sealing materials and all incidental charges required for attending complaints and restoration of system. New GI/CPVC/PVC pipes and fittings replaced, if any, shall be measured and paid separately under respective Supply & Fix items of this schedule.
