Concrete substrats must be prepared mechanically using abrasive blast cleaning or milling to remove cement laitance existing coating and achieve a gripping clean dry and free from laitance profile. The application instructions of manufacturer should be followed strictly. Note : (a) Chipping out any visible cracks must be clean and filled with SIKA latex SBR 100 Putty / Dr. Fixit 302 SBR latex / Perma latex SBR / FOSROC Nitbond SBR latex / Asain Paint latex in "V Groove" pattern and finally clean surface with powder grinder, wire brush hair brush & Vaccum pressure. (b) The waterproofing coating should be done upto a height of 450mm above the FFL on vertical surfaces. (c) Second coat shalll be applied after 6-8 hrs of application of previous coat and in the right angle direction.
