| 5 | M&L for applying Smartcare Damp proof, a fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with reinforcing acrylic fibers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on horizontal/vertical surfaces of roof/wall/chajjas in multiple coats @2.0 litre/sqm. Primary coat is self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1, damp proof: water) and other coats to be applied undiluted. (ii) The undiluted 2nd & 3rd coatings needs to be reinforced with 40 GSM geotextile to be sandwiched between them. (iii) After that final 4th coating shall be applied. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes complete all as specified and as directed.
