| 4 | Geotechnical Investigation & Quality Control Works of DSM Works Rotatory boring/ drilling of holes of all sizes for geotechnical investigation works to log and collect samples through all kinds of soils vertically with adequate and suitable equipment for depths below existing ground level as per specifications, drawing and as directed by the Engineer. Note: The quoted rates shall include the following. 1. Mobilization and Demobilization of suitable boring and drilling rigs of hydraulic type, including necessary accessories e.g. drilling rods, pumps, miscellancous equipments, tools, spares, consumables etc. adequate for all rigs, survey equipment etc. 2. Marking the drill hole locations on ground by actual survey as per the drawing, shifting and setting up of rig at each bore hole location including staging platform, anchoring etc, all complete. 3. Deployment of technical, skilled & unskilled man power required for carrying out the complete work as per specifications & drawings. 4. Stabilization of bore holes by bentonite slurry from GI top and/ or providing suitable temporary steel casing as deemed necessary for preventing caving-in of soil. This casing can be taken back by contractor after completion of work. 5. Measurement of ground water level as per specifications & drawings. 6. Maintance of drilling records and submission of final geological reports in hardcopy as well as soft copy. | ||
