| 1 | General Notes:
1. The Total quoted rate for item no. 1 to 3 shall not be less than the minimum wages of minimum manpower required (considering 288 working days in a year) including GST. Bids less than the above value shall be treated as non-responsive and will not be considered as lowest bid and will be rejected.
2. Contractor shall pay EPF & ESI of contract workers to concerned Department. The ESI and EPF contribution on part of employer in respect of these contract shall be paid by the contractor. These contributions on the part of employer paid by the contractor shall be reimbursed by the EIC to the contractor on actual basis. The applicable and eligible amount of ESI and EPF shall be reimbursed on submission of documentary proof of payment, provided same are in order.
3. The supervisor deployed under item no. 1 shall look after and will be resposnible for the entire activities mentioned in BOQ and tender documents. | | |
| 2 | Complete Maintenance of the entire garden features in the garden area i.e., lawns/ plants/ hedges/ shrubs, flower beds/ creepers etc., including hoeing, pruning, replacement of plants, gap filling, regular watering, removal of weeds from root level, mowing of lawn, clipping of hedges, grass cutting by petrol operated lawn mower and brush cutter, removal of garden waste, applying insecticide, pesticide & fertilizer (whenever required), top dressing of lawn with good earth/manure, cleaning drip irrigation pipes, removing chokes, drip emitters etc., and maintenance of other garden related works, maintenance and plantation of trees, etc., as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Note: 1) Good earth, fertilizer, insecticide, pesticide, fungicide, herbicide will be provided by department.
2) Supply of farm yard manure, vermicompost, coir pith will be paid under relevant item.
3) Approximately 38000 sqm area to be maintained per day. Hence, 38000 sqm x 288 days = 10944000 sqm area to be maintained in a year.
4) Minimum 19 no of malis and one supervisor shall be deployed for the work each day as mentioned in NIT. | 21888000 | Sqm |
| 3 | Maintenance of Potted Plants at Nursery in Earthen pot including resetting/ displaying at Nursery, including watering, weeding, hoeing, colouring, transplanting the damaged pots and disposal of generated garbage at specified place as per direction of officer-in-charge. Note:-1) Good earth, fertilizer, insecticide, pesticide, fungicide, herbicide will be provided by the department.
2) Supply of farm yard manure, vermicompost, coirpith will be paid under relevant item.
3) Approximately 4000 potted plants to be mainatained per day. Hence, 4000 pots x 288 days = 11,52,000 pots to be maintained in a year.
4) Minimum 02 no of malis shall be deployed for the work each day as mentioned in NIT.

| 4 | Maintenance of the existing Popup spray sprinkler system/ Impact sprinkler system by cleaning and removing dust in the sprinkler bodies like filter screen & choke removal, removal of nozzle choking (removal of chokes formed by silt and salt, cleaning any other foreign material including sludge), spring adjustment in impact sprinkler for smooth movement, finally washing by the clean water, refixing the sprinkler system in original position after ensuring smooth functioning etc., as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Note: 1) Approximately 400 sprinklers are available at site and each month 400 sprinklers need to be maintained. Hence, for an year, 400 x 12 = 4800 sprinklers need to be maintained.
