| 1 | Cleaning and de-silting work of intake channel, intake chamber and Jack well including making temporary bund by means of sand bags, earth etc., (to facilitate the cleaning work and removal some of them to allow water to enter the well after the work every day as and when required) dewatering, cleaning of silt, debris, garbage, all un-wanted waste materials and disposing the same at desired locations, deepening of water way/channel to enhance inflow of water to V.T. pumps, all as per the instructions of AE (C ) water supply in charge. This work includes costs of all T&P, labour charges, labour insurance etc. complete in following stages:- The scope of work is as under:- I. Cleaning of strainer by removing silt, pebbles, polythene bags, waste materials deposited within/around the strainer. Initially this work is to be carried out under the water of about 8 to 10 feet depth by the skilled and expert labourer II. Filling required numbers of empty bags with sand/earth or any material and staking the same to restrict the water to enter in to intake channel, intake chamber for cleaning of channel by digging and removal of deposited silt from intake chamber up to desired level as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. III- Excavation/ cleaning of silt inside the Jack well by any means like de-silting Motor-pump and through manually (to the desired level) and disposing the excavated material in downstream of river/ pot holes as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge. IV-After completion of work staking the filled bags of sand/earth or any material both sides of water ways to prevent cutting of earth and clear the site as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge. | 1.00 | Job |
