| 1 | Labour only for attending day to day domestic area/OTM area water supply complaints of water pipe size up to 20 mm of bore of potable water pipe lines in all nature including leakage of pipe line, GI fittings, over flow of over head tank, direct kitchen tap and taking out/dewatering water from shafts/trenches during repair and make functional the pipe line and restore supply complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) The pipe fitter/Plumber shall always be in possession of die set with cutters ,Taps, pipe wrench, chain wrench, complete set of spanners and ladders etc as required at site. (ii) Contractor shall deploy adequate pipe fitter/Plumbers at MES complaint cell at Southern, central & Northern sectors along with helpers as directed by Engr in charge. (iii) If the contractor fail to rectify the complaint with in same day from the complaint date, then a penalty @ Rs 200 Per complaint per day shall be levied on the contractor. | 4 | M&L for finding external water pipe of size more than 50mm of Pump house and of any length, type and bore, rectification of valve and joint leakages of any kind such as run lead joint/spigot and socket joint/flange joint/D joint etc including welding and provision of jointing materials/joint such as lead/flanges/clamps /jute/rubber gasket /nuts/bolts / washers/ grease/socket/D joint etc and testing of water line in presence of JE/Engr in Charge, complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) The cost of labour for excavation in any kind of strata, cutting of RCC/PCC surfaces/road and making good, returning filling, fixing of joint, T&P etc and making good to the existing as required at site shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates. (ii) Testing shall be carried out in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge to the satisfaction of the Deptt. (iii) Rubber tyton or run lead joint of pipes and fittings for repair shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate items. However cost of nut, bolts, clamps, flange, rubber packing, welding work as required and D joint of any size shall be included in the quoted rate. (iv) Repair to the leakage shall be rectified within 24 hours after informing, in case of failing which a penalty of Rs 500.00 per hour per complaint shall be imposed on the contractor for delay in rectification of leakage. | 220.00 | Each Job |
