(iii) test detector and call point in each zone as required.
(iv) Testing of alarm sounders.
(v) Cleaning of control panel and wirings.

NOTE 1 FOR item no 1 & 2
.The entire scope of work specified under BOQ/Schedule A , Item No. 1.00 & 2.00 including repair /replacement of any defective parts of the fire alarm system , shall be executed exclusively through the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) i.e., M/s Siemens PVT LTD & M/s Honeywell International INC or their accredicted/authorized agency.The contractor shall upload/submit a scanned copy of the Intent of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) executed with the above OEM in Cover No. 1, along with his bid application.Further, the contractor shall also submit the hard copy of the said MoU along with his application before the last date of bid submission. Failure to upload/submit the MoU (both scanned copy and hard copy) shall result in summary rejection of the bid, and Cover No. 2 shall not be opened under any circumstances.However before commencement of work ,the contractor shall mandatorily submit the final and fully executed MOU/Agreement With the OEM.No work Shall be permitted to start without submission of the final MOU

NOTE 2 FOR item no 1 , 2 &3
-01. Contractor will be responsible to keep update of fire alarm system, serviceable condition.
02. Contractor Shall Maintain all the Documents and Produce to the Concerned Engineer in charge as and when required /preparation of RAR.
03. Contractor shall give the Demo and training for all duty staffs as when required about the fire alarm System. the below note.
04. Necessary T & P required will be included in quoted rate.
05.Spares required for replacement, shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items here in after

NOTE 3 FOR item no 1 , 2 &3
1. Attending break down maintenance and replacement of unserviceable spare parts with new ones as required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge
2. In case of any breakdown, the contractor shall ensure that the fault is rectified and the system is made fully operational within 48 hours from the time of reporting. Immediate site visit by the authorized service personnel within this period shall be mandatory. Failure to comply with the above timeline shall attract a penalty of 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) per day of delay, recoverable from the contractor s dues, in addition to any other action as deemed fit by the Engineer-in-Charge.
3. The repair and maintenance of Fire Alarm system should be done through OEM or through the authorised service provider of the OEM.
4.The contractor/OEM shall ensure strict adherence to all applicable safety standards, statutory regulations, and OEM-recommended safety practices during the installation, operation, and maintenance. It shall be the contractor s responsibility to ensure that all safety devices, protective features, and emergency systems are fully functional at all times. In the event any safety-related deficiency, defect, or potential hazard is observed, whether or not specifically mentioned in this contract, the contractor shall immediately notify the Engineer-in-Charge in writing and take corrective action within the stipulated time as directed. Failure to comply with safety requirements or to report any such issue shall render the contractor solely and fully responsible for any accident, damage, or loss arising therefrom, and the contractor shall bear all consequences, including penalties, legal liabilities, and costs, without any liability on the part of the department. | 9.00 | Each Month |
