| 2 | Repair/ rectification of street/ security lights/ perimeter lights/ flood lights any type, any make and any capacity against complaints received through telephone or at complaint cell or by person detailed to check the lights are serviceable/un serviceable in respect of BOQ Item no.1 to make the security/ street lights in serviceable & functional condition as intimated by JE in-charge by rectification/ trace out the fault which includes disconnecting connection wire, removing/ taking down of street/ security light fitting from wall/ bldg/ plinth/ LT/ steel tubular/ swan neck poles/ octagonal poles upto 11 mtr height from ground level or any other location, bring to MES workshop, opening the screws, step opening, diagnosing the fault, connection wire or any other part in presence of JE (E/M) or deptt rep etc, cleaning of light fitting/ glass/ acrylic cover, re-assembling, testing for functioning, shifting back to site and re-fixing on GI pipe bracket/ wall/ pole after repair, making necessary connections or tightening of loose connection on ACSR conductor/ in bar chamber/ in DB, including any type of repair in timer, switch box as required to make the light fitting functional. The replacement of parts i.e. driver, SPD, LED lamp, LED panel, MCB contactor, or any other part if required shall be measured and paid separately as S&F under relevant item of BOQ. | 2000.00 | Each job |
| 3 | Notes : (a) Light fittings, flexible wire and LED driver, street light timer, MCBs, contactors, junction boxes or any other item etc if required to be replaced in repair shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ. The quoted rate include cost of minor parts i.e. screws, thimble, insulation tape etc required. (b) Complaints shall be attended and rectified within 24hrs of receipt of complaint. (c) Repair of one light shall be measured as one unit for measurement. (d) Contractor will get make and sample approval of items required to be replaced mentioned at Srl No. 10.00 to 16.00 here-in-after and will hand over min 50% to JE in-charge with all PV & TC within 30 days of commencement of work ensure repair of street light any time when required during currency of contract and these items/ material will be issued by JE (E/M) on daily basis on actual assessment of complaints to replace the defective parts and for accounting of items. The contractor will maintain register regarding details of daily complaints received, pending, rectified, items replaced on daily basis duly signed by contractor, JE etc. | ||
| 4 | (e) Old retrieved material shall be deposited to JE (E/M) at AGE (E/M) yard/ E/M workshop on same day and will be given to contractor through gate pass in sign of Engr in charge at the time of RAR after deducting amount as per Sch of Credit. (f) The contractor or his rep will get complaints from JE/ Engineer-in-Charge on daily basis in morning to repair lights. The contractor/ his authorised representative will receive the instruction/ complaints from JE (E/M) regarding detail of security light to be repaired daily at 0900 Hrs. In case contractor/ his rep do not receive complaint in morning, a recovery as per relevant PS Clause unserviceable light shall be recovered which remains pending due to non-availability of contractor manpower. (g) Contractor will provide vehicle, ladder,reqd FOL any other tools & plants required at site at his own costs nothing extra will be admissible on account of this. (h) If number of lights found unserviceable at one location due to non-availability/ any defect in electric supply, then making of all lights functional by rectification of electric supply shall be measured as one unit. (j) The contractor/his rep will report back to JE on same day for feedback of complaints done/rectified. (k) The quoted rate include teh cost of cutting/ pruning of any shurb/ branches around security/ street ligh/ pole to be repaired. | ||
| 5 | Ditto all as per item No 2 above, but for 12.5 Mtr high mast lights/16 Mtr height mast light incl bringing down of high mast light bracket down to ground level by suitable means motor/manual,(as available at site) dismantling/repair the lights after replacement of parts, assembling/ re- fixing the lights and taking up the light bracket complete with the help of motor or any type of manual labour work incl any disconnection/ connection of of cables involved. Note: 1. The taking down of high mast light down, repair of one or more lights and taking up and fixing the bracket on top at one time will be measured as one unit for payment. 2. In case, lamp carriage cant't be taken/moved down due to problem in up/down movement mechanism, Contractor have to arrange suitable Hydra or any other arrangement to repair lights. Nothing extra shall be payable on this account. 3. The quoted rate includes cost of cutting/ pruning of shrub around high mast for easy repair of High Mast. | 20.00 | Each |
