| 4 | Notes : (i) The actual requirement of binder shall be as per the job mix formula and test specified. However quantity from the mix formula found more than specified 5.5% same will be provided with no extra cost to the Govt. In case binder content found to be less than 5.5% as per mix formula as specified in Schedule 'A' shall be adusted @ the rate of 75.30/KG for the less quanity of bitumen used. The quantity of 5.5 % mentioned is exclusive of any wastage and no wastage shall be taken onto account for the purpose of above adjustment. (ii) Paving bitumen primer of Grade VG-10 for tack coat and bitumen of Grade VG-30 for semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be used and shall be procured by the contractor under his own arrangement and at his own cost. (iii) Cost of all the materials, T&P, labour etc. required for providing and laying semi dense asphaltic concrete shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item. (iv) Rate of carring out design mix shall be inclusive of rate quoted by the contractor. | ||
