| 5 | Note for Item No. 1.00 to 4.00 :- (i) Contractor or his supervisor / site Engineer will report daily at 0900 hrs at complaint cell for collection of complaints from the concerned JE/AGE in case after checking & attending the defects, if it is not possible to rectify the defects within 08 hrs , the facts shall be brought to the notice of JE than after to Engineer in charge by the contractor/ his rep immediately. If Engineer-in-Charge is satisfied with contractor view, no recovery will be made on this account. However complaints related to sewage line blockage/pipe replacement etc whatever is applicable shall be attended on same day whether it is 'Sunday' or 'Gazetted hoidays' and nothing extra shall be payable to contractor on this account. (ii) Contractor or his supervisor/site engineer will report daily at 0900 hrs at complaint cell for noting of day to day complaints in complaint register, issue of complaints slip to tradesmen and enter after completion in complaint register. (iii) The complaint shall be attended & defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs i.e from 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs excluding Sunday and Gazetted holiday commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint slip failing which a penality @ Rs 500/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/ imposed on the contractor and necessary recovery shall be made from his dues on this account. The contractor at the begining of contract will provide printed 30X complaints slip books as per performa let with 400 leaf each booklet. (iv) Any item / material which are required to be replaced shall be paid under respective item under this schedule here in after as Supply only. (v) The labour/tradesmen required for replacement of 'Supply only' items are included under this item. However labour charges for items where indicated 'M&L', 'S&F' and 'in repairs' shall be included in respective items. (vi) The above all aspect shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate of the respective item. |
