| 1 | Attending day to day complaint of different type sewage work such as blockage of WHB, WC,urinals, Sink, Bottle trap, Floor trap, Nahani trap, 'P' or 'S' traps of WCs, gully trap, vertical pipes of any type and any dia including juction holes of any description of various units area, Single living Accn, JCOs ORs Md Accn, Offrs Md Accn and any other Accn of AGE B/R-I area, repairing of CI pipes joints (lead,cement joints) cleaning of sewage line, manholes of anynsize and depth and making it fully functional and removal of sludge / mud out side of Cantt area, excluding sunday and holiday by employing following manpower, to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge for making payment with following requirement / condition, complete all as directed. NOTE FOR ITEM NO 1
(a) The contractor will have to employ minimum 02 nos labour / mazdoor every day excluding Sunday and holiday to attend day to day sewer complaints.
(b) The cost of items like nails screws,hexa blades, washers, plugs, cement, gasket, lead, jute, packing material, bamboo sticks, etc shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rates only.
(c) All the complaint(s) will be addressed and rectified within 04 hrs from the time of receipt of complaint.If,contractor or his tradesman fails to attend and rectify the complained within 04 hrs from the time of receipt of complaint,the compensation/ penalty of Rs 50.00 ( Rupees fifty only) per complaint per hr for 04 hrs and after that Rs 100.00 ( Rupees one hundred only) per complaint per hr shall be recovered from the contractor's.
(d) The cost of transportation ( to and from) and other necessary T & P,flexible rods,wires,bamboo sticks and other necessary equipment and safety gear shall be arranged/brought by contractor to complete the job and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor in this effect.
(e) Any labourers/workmen, at any point of the time during the course of execution of work, at any cost, will not be allowed to manual handling of sewage containing human excreta (i.e. night soil and sludge/sewage containing night soil). All the sludge/mud,containing human night soil, from manholes,gutters shall be removed by mechanical means by deploying required machinery as and when required.The cost in this effect shall be deemed to be inclusive in the quoted rates only.
(f) The labourer(s) should not leave the complaint cell till the next reliever(s) does not report to complaint cell.(g) The labourer(s) should be free from the habits of any addiction such as liquor,smoking or other drugs.
(h) In case, aditional manpower other than mentioned here-in-above, will be required for to attend day to day sewer complaint and smooth functioning of sewage system, the contractor shall be solely responsible for providing the same without any extra cost and no extra payment will be made in this affect at any stage by department.
(j) It is an explicit condition of the contract that payment of wages to tradesmen/workers employed on the work shall be made through bank account of individuals only. The wage paid to the tradesmen/workers shall not be less than minium wages/fair wages as notified time to time by State/ Central Government (which ever is more).
(k) The provision of statutory laws relating to Minimum Wages, EPF and ESIC payments shall be strictly adhered to by the Contractor and quoted rate shall deemed to include these factors.

| 2 | Cleaning or taking out muddy/ sewage water from soakage pit/ septic tanks of any size, depth and capacity by using of mechanical sewage/ mud water disposal pump set and dispossed off muddy/ sewage water in a closed container vehicle to a distance outside MD land.
Note:- All labour and T&P i.e. sewage water pump set, diesel, transportation of pump set from one place to other place, suction pipe, delivery pipe and manpower, prepair approach to working site/ point etc required for above work, shall be deemed included in unit rates quoted by the contractor and nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. | 300.00 | Cum |
| 3 | Removing blockage and Cleaning of existing sewer pipes up to 450mm dia(one Manhole and line up to 50mtr length) at any depth by deploying Super sucker machine(Combined high pressure jetting and suction machine),including breaking and removing all types of blockage,silt,sludge,grease and debris from sewer line/manholes by high pressure jetting and simultaneous suction ,ensuring free flow of sewage,including operation of machine with operater ,fuel,inserting jetting hose through manholes,suction of waste material into tank ,uploading and disposal of sludge to any distance out of defence land at their own cost and refixing manhole covers etc, the cost of removal shall be included in the quoted rate complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. | 15.00 | Each Job |
