1Supply, install, test and commissioning of accoustic proof AMF type diesel engine driven generating set fully wired, 415V, +5%, AC 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz having capacity not less than 62.5 KVA continous rating power factor 0.8 (lagging), connecting as per IE rules and mounted on a common base plate with anti vibration pad recommended by the manufacturer all as specified and directed .The DG set shall comprise of following :- . The diesel engine will comprise of following:- (A) Diesel Engine - The engine should be four cylinder,liquid cooled, turbocharged with after cooler, developing not less than 75.5 BHP @ 1500 RPM. is inline, electric start, compression ignition, 4 stroke, designed to run continuously at 1500 RPM confirming to IS 10002, ISO-3046, BS 5514 strandard. Diesel Engine will comply with present CPCB -IV+ norms. M1.00Each

The alternator conforms to IS : 4722, BS EN 60034-1 & will be suitable for tropical condition.
3(C) Electric system : The electric system of the starter motor and charging alternator shall have the following components:- (i) Charging alternator 12V or 24V, DC (ii) Voltage regulator built in type IC regulated (iii) Starter motor 12 volts DC/24V DC (iv) Battery 12 volts DC and suitable capacity and quantity as per OEM standards with one set of connecting leads of suitable size copper cable. (D) Fuel tank (Service tank) : The fuel tank shall be mild steel suitable to hold fuel for minimum 8 hours or running at Full load and shall be including fuel level indicator duly marked to read 25%, 50%, 75%,100% per division fuel line from tank to engine arrangement for fuel filling fuel and digital display and drain out facility etc. compelte all as specified.
4(E) AMF Control Panel : Automatic mains failure (AMF) control panel shall be able to start up the DG set and transfer the load on to the DG set on main failure without requiring any human intervention . Similarly on restoration of Main supply it shall be able to transfer the DG set automatically alognwith provision of by pass arrangements of main supply. The AMF panel shall be with in enclosure having IP-53 degree of protection conforming to IS:13947 (Part-I) 1993 fabricated from minimum 1.6mm thick CRCA sheet steel duly pre treated aesthetically finished and shall be dust and vermin proof. The AMF panel shall have the following accesseories:- (a) Micro processor based relay wiht composite meter for digital display of (i) Generator voltage/AC main voltage (ii) Generator current (iii) Power factor (iv) frequency (v) Energy (KWH) (vi) Engine start (vii) On delay time for load change over (viii) On delay time for engine shut off (ix) Fuel level reading in ltr (b) Mode selector for setting the panel on any one position such as 'Off' or 'Auto' or 'Manual' or 'Test' (c) Engine ON-OFF switch (push button type) (d) MCCB of capacity of 100 Amp FP suitable to alternator 415 volts 25 KA-1 No
5(e) Aluminium Bus bar (one number for each phase and neutral and earthing terminal) or adequate rating duly colour with heat shrinkable PVC sleeves . (f) Two contractors of suitable rating (one for DG set & one for AC mains) with over load relay. (g) Under voltage relay for mains (h) Battery charger complete with voltage regulator, float or boost selector switch On-OFF switch, voltmeter and ammeter for charging the battery from mains. This will be in addtion to the battery charging alternator fitted on the engine. (j) Instrument and control panel. (k)Five numbers indicating lamps to indicate 'Mains ON', 'Load on mains', DG set running 'Load on DG set' and 'Battery ON' (l) Audio Visual alarm on AMF Controller for 'Low lubricating oil pressure', 'High water temperature', 'Start failure' and DG set over load' (m) Any other switch, instrument, relay or contactor etc. essential for smooth and trouble free functioning of DG set with AMF panel.
