| 1 | Recapitalization of 01 no. 25000 GPH x 300 meter head (low speed) multistage, horizontal centrifugal pump (Wilo make) installed at WSS HRT Lift stage-3rd, Shalimar, Kishtwar.
The Job involves uncoupling of the pump from 180 KW (240 HP) Induction motor after closing the control valves, unfastening the pump from the base frame, suction side flange, discharge side flange together with dismantling of connected elbow sections of suction/delivery pipelines, plugging /sealing the open suction/delivery pipelines with blind flanges, thereafter shifting the same from pump house to outside/road side by way of deployment of manual labour, tripod & chain pulley block and crane/backhoe loader (as per availability/requirement) and subsequently loading in load carrier for shifting to workshop for renovation followed by unloading at workshop with the help of crane/gantry and labour etc., Removing the top covers of the bearing housing of DE, extract the worn out/broken/ fractured sleeves, neck rings, worn out thrust disc, thrust plate. Thereafter unfastening the tie rods to dismantle the 06 nos. casing segments, 01 no. suction casing segment, 01 no. delivery casing segment, gland cooling pipe etc followed by extraction of 06 no. impellers, diffusers, shaft, keys, coupling etc. Rebuilding of worn out shaft by way of welding/deposition of suitable metal alloy, turning/ finishing to desired specifications, rebuilding of threads. Cleaning of impellers and diffusers with the help of emery paper/turning to remove the hard deposited matter. Unclogging gland cooling system. P/F of gland studs = 04 nos. in lieu of damaged ones. Providing, fabrication and fitting of new impellers 03 nos., Casting, fabrication, machining of bearing bushes DE & NDE, bearing housing rings. P/F Sleeves DE & NDE, thrust plate, thrust disc, packing rings, fabrication & fitting of neck rings = 06 nos., diffusers = 03 nos. in lieu of old damaged ones as per requisite specifications. The job covers ensuring proper balancing of impellers, shafts during renovation work.
There after re-assembling the shaft keys, impellers, diffuser casings suction & delivery casings, thrust plate, thrust disc, sleeves, gland housing, packing rings, tie rods, gland cups, bearing bushes alongwith p/f of inter-stage gaskets and loading the pump in load carrier by deployment of labour and crane for shifting back to site i.e HRT Lift, Kishtwar. Unloading the pump at site and shifting inside pump room on the base frame with the help of crane, manual labour, tripod & chain pulley block etc. Thereafter making proper leveling and alignment of the pump and motor units, fitment of the pump with the base frame, coupling with the motor, suction & delivery elbows/bends/distance pieces, alongwith p/f of flange gaskets, nut-bolts & washers = 20 nos., coupling bolts along with rubber bushes = 10 nos. in lieu of damaged ones, lubricating oil for bearing bushes, graphited gland packing, hose for wash out and thereafter testing on full load.
Painting of pump by way of preparation of surface, application of single coat of metal primer followed by double coat of superior quality of paint. The job includes cost of hire charges of tools & tackles and crane/backhoe loader. Casting/fabrication charges, cost of material, skilled labour charges, manual labour charges, to & fro transportation charges between Kishtwar and Firm's workshop (Complete Job)
