| 1 | The work pertains to carrying out the Inspection, defect identification, dismantling, repair, rectification, reconditioning, reassembly, testing, and commissioning of 02 Nos. HRP Make Propulsion Units (Type: HRP 2111 WM, 200 kW) fitted onboard MPT Rajguru, including mechanical, hydraulic, lubrication, steering, sealing, and control systems, complete with replacement of defective/worn-out parts, alignment, operational checks, and performance trials under supervision of IRS/IWT Surveyor and Engineer-in-Charge.
These thruster units are coupled with the vessel s main propulsion engines, Make: Cummins, Model: NT-855, BHP: 270, RPM: 1800. The units were originally manufactured by ZF Marine Middle East LLC, P.O. Box 26093, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
Proposed Scope of Work
Inspection, troubleshooting, and complete onboard assessment of both ZF AG azimuth thruster units covering mechanical, hydraulic, control, lubrication, and sealing systems including gears, bearings, shafts, seals, alignment, clearances, and operating performance.
Carrying out necessary overhaul, repair, replacement of defective/worn-out parts, reconditioning, alignment, and restoration to restore full operational efficiency of both thrusters.
Work to be executed under supervision of IRS/IWT Surveyor and as per instructions of Engineer-in-Charge and OEM requirements.
Upon completion, functional and river/harbour trials to be conducted including steering response, load test, vibration, noise, temperature, and hydraulic performance checks for satisfactory operation.
