| 2 | Note :- 1.Type Approval & COP Compliance: A valid Type Approval Certificate and Conformity of Production (COP) issued by a recognized agency must be submitted with the bid to confirm compliance with prescribed emission norms. 2. Device should be as per the System and Procedure of Central Pollution Control Board for Emission Compliance Testing of Retro-fit Emission Control Devices (RECD) For Diesel Power Generating Set Engines, Dated 01/02/2022, wide Pollution Control Series PCLS/12/2021-22 3. Noise Test Reports: Noise test reports from CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories or any CPCB-approved laboratory for RECDs up to 500 KVA should be submitted along with the technical bid. 4. RECD Manufacturer Authorization: Authorization from the RECD manufacturer should be made mandatory at the time of bid submission to ensure product authenticity and traceability... If contractor failed to upload the same in Cover-1, bid will be rejected in Cover-1 and financial bid not be opened." | ||

| 4 | General Technical Requirements (GTR)/ Commissioning:- (a) Emission Control retrofit device shall be complete with safety precautions to ensure no damage should be done to the DG set operations under any circumstances. The Emission Control retrofit device should be closely coupled with the DG exhaust to ensure 100% of technical exhaust passes through the Emission Control retrofit device. (b) Anit- Vibration mountings shall be provided for complete Emission Control retrofit device in case of flexible coupling with the diesel generator exhaust. (c) Emission Control retrofit device should have protection against under voltage, over voltage, under frequency, over frequency, new battery voltage, over current, earth-fault, short circuit, phase sequence change etc. (d) The Emission Control retrofit device shall be with corrosion resistive and HR Paint. (e) Unloading and placement of the Emission Control retrofit device at the time of Delivery is in the scope of buyer. The consignee shall ensure that the site is located along a motorable way. (f) The contractor shall provide the trial run (Testing) of Emission Control retrofit device. The contractor shall conduct trial run of the Emission Control retrofit device with the available electrical load at site. The trial run shall be for TWO hours. The electrical loading shall not be more than the rated capacity of the DG set. (g) Exhaust piping, external civil work, distribution board shall be provided by the contractor. | ||
| 5 | Scope of Installation:- (a) Installation of Emission Control Retrofit Device when offered by the vendor is inclusive in the scope of supply and shall be done by the authorized agency. (b) Construction of suitable earthing station (if applicable) and necessary connections shall be done by the agency. Warranty /Service included for : - 3 years AMC of RECD : AMC of RECD incl for 2 years Number of preventive maintenance visits offered in a year during warranty Period : - 2 visits per year. |
