| 1 | Comprehensive repair/maintenance of electric water heater (geyser) of capacity 25 litres, vertical or horizontal type comprising of the following: (a) Opening or dismantling the storage tank, taking down, de-scaling, brushing and thorough cleaning. (b) checking of all stop cock, pressure release valves, PVC/Steel hose Connection, fusible plugs for its serviceability etc. in situ to ensure proper functioning of parts including supply and replacing of washers/ gasket nut etc. (c) Checking and rectify earth continuity of the Electrical circuits of Geyser and power point. (d) Checking, re-fixing and re-adjusting thermostat. (e) De-scaling the immersion type heating element and syphon assembly with diluted Hydrochloric acid or suitable cleaning solution. (f) Checking of indicator lamp for it proper serviceability. (g) Re-assembling and re-installing the geyser at the same position and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Unserviceable Parts/ components of electric water heater shall be replaced by the contractor. (ii) Supply of new parts/components shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule.
