| 1 | Taking down ceiling fans / exhaust fans / fresh air fans of any make and type and rectifying the defects including replacement of unserviceable parts and testing and reinstalling at same or any other location as directed at site by Engineer-in-charge. Notes: - (i). The unit rate is deemed to include the cost of taking down carefully fans from existing position, any location in the AOR of AGE E/M office after disconnecting electric connections, sealing cable ends, bringing to MES store yard and refixing in same as different locations after repair/painting work etc complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (ii) Cost of major items such as ball bearing, gun metal bush, capacitors, canopy, blades and repair/ rewinding /painting etc shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule as supply only. (iii) Minor items or works like tightening loose connections in switches, binding insulation tape to the naked wires, replacement of unserviceable clamps, connector, nuts and bolts, split pins, rubber reel, washers, greasing, including flexible twin core copper wire of suitable size from existing ceiling rose to fan etc. complete will be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to the department and cost of these minor items or works will be deemed to be included in the quoted rates against this item and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. | 2083 | Each Job |
