| 1 | Carrying out comprehensive maintenance of window and split type air conditioners, refrigerators, deep freezers, desert coolers and water purifiers (RO/UV/UF type) including periodic servicing, preventive maintenance and attending breakdown complaints. The work includes dismantling wherever required, thorough cleaning of filters, evaporator and condenser coils using suitable chemical solution, cleaning of blower, fan motor, drain tray and drain pipe including removal of choke and flushing. Checking, testing and servicing of compressors, fan motors, blowers, thermostats, relays, overload protectors, contactors, PCB, selector switches, SMPS, solenoid valves, RO pumps, UV lamps, membranes and allied components. Attending faults such as inadequate cooling, noise, vibration, water leakage, gas leakage etc., including leak detection using nitrogen pressure, rectification by brazing of copper tubing, vacuuming and charging of suitable refrigerant gas and topping up as required. Including replacement of minor spares such as capacitors, thermostats, relays, wiring, lugs, drain pipes, insulation tape, fasteners, rubber parts, filter candles, carbon filters and other consumables required for proper functioning of equipment. For water purifiers, work includes cleaning/ flushing of complete system, checking and servicing of RO membrane, UV lamp, sediment and carbon filters, pipelines, storage tank, ensuring proper purification and discharge. Checking of complete electrical system including wiring, earthing, insulation, tightening of terminals and ensuring safe operation. Including dismantling and refixing of units (if required during maintenance), complete testing, commissioning and handing over in satisfactory working condition, complete all as specified and directed. | 225.00 | Each Job |

(a) The work shall be carried out by a fully trained, experienced and technically qualified team. Technicians deployed must be authorised/ certified by OEM or having valid technical certification and adequate experience in handling HVAC and refrigeration equipment. Team shall be provided daily by the contractor for complaints.
(b) Rep of the contractor will remain present in complaint cell & responsible for receiving & attending the complaints from 0800 Hrs to 1600 Hrs daily, the time of lodging the complaint.
(c) Cost of minor stores such as screws, clamps, insulation tapes, nuts/ bolts, nails of required size etc shall be deemed included in the quoted rate.
(d) Complaints where complete replacement of circuit/ point wiring is required shall be measured under relevent item of this schedule.
(e) Complaint must be attended within 24 hours. A penality shall be imposed if delay beyond 24 hrs @ 200 per day per equipments.
(f) Non-Performance; If any equipment remains non-functional for more than 72 hours, a penalty of @ 500 per day per equipment shall be levied. | | |
