| 1 | Disconnection of electric connections from DG set of any description and in any position, for servicing, taking out & removing unserviceable/defective parts/spares, cleaning, servicing, de-scaling of water jackets, oiling and greasing of necessary parts, refixing the serviceable parts in position after servicing, replacement of unserviceable parts including draining-out of existing engine oil and filling new engine oil of same grade and filters, refixing of all accessories , make funtional and testing on full load complete all as directed for following capacity of DG sets. Note. (i) The quoted rates of the contractor includes for fixing the serviceable parts in position and replacement of unserviceable parts with new parts. The new replaced parts shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of BOQ as `Supply only to the extent covered under the respective supply only items here-in- after but quoted rates are inclusive of replacement of small/minor parts such as nuts, bolts, washers, locking nuts, small springs, `O rings, screws/gaskets/ packing /studs etc. (ii) Engine oil shall be drained out carefully, collected by the contractor in his own suitable containers and stored properly for checking serviceability including cleaning of oil sump by pouring kerosene oil all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (iii) Fresh engine oil replaced for DG sets shall be supplied by the contractor as Supply only and shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ . However, cost of filling is deemed to be included under the rates quoted by the contractor for above item. (iv) All servicing of DG set shall be done by reputed staff of OEM. Servicing & test report shall be submitted after each service/ maintenance . | ||
