| 1 | Opening of cover (of any description and size) of septic tanks and soakage wells/pits, de-sludging / de-watering of septic tanks and soakage wells/pits of any size and depth by using honey sucker/sludge sucker Vehicle of carrying capacity of of 2000/3000 ltr and dispose sludge minimum 1 Km away from periphery of defence land at his own arrangement where sanitary hazards do not take place as per directions/ instructions of civil authority and burried in excavated pits and covering with earth including refixing covers after cleaning. Septic tank/soakage well/ pit cleaned under this item are to be maintained and kept fully functional by removing any type of blockage during the currency of contract all as specified and directed. NOTE:- 1. Unit rate quoted by tenderer shall include taking out sludge from septic tanks and soakage wells/pits (liquid/semi liquid / solid) , excavation of borrow pits for dumping sludge including covering of pit with earth,removing including loading/ unloading and transportation etc including cleaned septic tank/soakage well and pit shall be kept fully functional by removing any type of blockage during the currency of contract without any extra cost to the Govt. 2 Cleaning of septic tanks and soakage well shall be done with Honey sucker except at location where approch is not available manual cleaning shall be permitted. | 2 | Cleaning / clearing & maintenance of sewage lines of any bore, manholes including CI stacks, gully traps,floor traps under ground lines any depth by removing any type of blockage from drain 100/150mm bore by roding from manholes to manholes and flushing after cleaning including manholes sludge/ sludge water to be disposed off outside the periphery of defence land including taking off manhole covers and re-fixing the same after cleaning sewage lines. Sewage lines cleared/cleaned under this item are to be maintained and kept fully functional by removing any type of blockage during the currency of contract.
