Luminaire must have Green & Red indicator lights for showing charging of battery and low battery voltage respectively. Light fixture must also have protections like Over-Charge protection, Deep-discharge protection, current protection, Short circuit protection, Over voltage protection. The light fixture should have a hybrid controller to support working of light fixture by electric supply in case of adverse weather conditions/ low battery. The job further includes replacement warranty of fixtures (if damaged/burnt out whatso ever reason) for a period of 2 years reckoned from date of successful commissioning/handing over of site to intending department. The solar lighting companies must have toll free base service network to provide immediate after sales service networks available in different districts of the state.
