Removal of Old MIV Rubber Seal: Safely remove the existing rubber seal from the MIV.Ensure no damage is caused to the valve or other components during removal. 2. Fabrication/Replacement of MIV Seal: Fabricate a new MIV seal based on the provided specifications Seal specifications: Seal Material: Rubber Outer Diameter (OD): 2130mm Thickness: 25mm Specification Number (Sp. No.): 5-552 V-170-1-9-200: Likely a reference to the exact material or product code. 3. Installation of the New Seal: o Install the newly fabricated rubber seal onto the MIV in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and the system's requirements. o Ensure proper alignment and fit of the seal to avoid leaks and ensure long-term operation. 4. 3Dismantling, Overhauling, Alignment, Re-installation and Commissioning of Gate Valve of Size 850 mm Dia. of Unit-1
4a) Dismantling of the existing damaged penstock gate valve of size 33.46 (850 mm) by means of welding, cutting, turning, grinding, etc. b) Cleaning and clearing of the seat, grooves and travel way of the penstock gate valve system. c) Repairing the eroded surface inside the body of the valve by turning and rebuilding the same with cast steel welding. d) Reassembling the valve after replacement of the wedge ring set, seal ring set, valve spindle, gland packing and all H.T. nuts, bolts, studs, washers and rubber gasket packing. e) Replacement of all damaged and rusted studs and nuts of size L = 158 mm and Dia. 19 mm with new superior quality studs and nuts. f) Greasing of the gear box of the gate valve. g) Painting of the complete gate valve body with two coats of silver paint of approved shade, as approved by the Site In-charge, to avoid rusting. h) Final assembly, installation, alignment, testing and successful commissioning of the above system complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. 1.000Job
5Repair/Replacement of the sealing compound heat exchanger of Unit-1. Repair/ replacement of the sealing compound of the heat exchanger to prevent oil leakage. Replacement of damaged gaskets, nuts, bolts, and other necessary components shall also be carried out to restore the system to its proper operating condition. After completing the repair and replacement work, the heat exchanger will be reassembled and properly installed. Necessary alignment will be done to ensure smooth and efficient operation. The system will then be thoroughly tested to check for leakage and performance. Finally, successful commissioning of the heat exchanger will be carried out, complete in all respects, to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge. 1.000Job
