| 3 | (ix) All joint filled with lead wool and putty
(x) Tank should be painted internally with two coats of black bitumenous paint over a coat of primer and two caost of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer externally.
(xi) Water level indicator and ladder of required height should be provided at no extra cost.
(xii) Inlet, outlet and wash out provision should be provided.

Note:-
(i) Foundation should be measured and paid separately under relevent item of BOQ.
(ii) The design and fabrication of tank shall be done in accordance with IS-804: 1967 and shall be vetted by structural Engineer of NIT/IIT/Govt Engg College and then finally approved by the GE and cost the same shall have deemed to included with unit quoted rate.
(iii) If any variation of section size and length on heigher side no price adjustment shall be entertained but if the smaller size and length shall be used, minus adjustment shall be done.
(iv) Water potabality test shall be carried out at NABL/ state govt lab. | | |
