| 3 | SAILENT FEATURES OF DG SET The DG Set is of compact size with Manual and Automatic starting system. Sound Proof, weather Proof enclosure. Low vibration, best in class fuel consumption with electronic fuel injection system. Class G3 Governing in its range, which gives better accuracy in decreasing the speed drop in transient and lowering the recovery time of the speed. Low cost of service & spares. Low operation cost. confirms to statutory Govt CPCB IV + emmission & noise level norms. The enclosure is of modular construction with the provision to assemble and dismantle easily. The sheet metal components are pre- treated and are polyester based powder coated (inside as well as outside) for long life. All Nuts-bolts, hardware are stainless steel for long life. Battery is provide in tray inside the enclosure. Door are gasketed with high quality EPDN gaskets to avoid leakage of sound. Optimised EATS (Exhaust After Treatment System) is provided to control exhaust noise and emission. Specially designed sound attenuators are provided to control sound at air entry & exit points inside the enclosure. To make the system vibration free, engine and alternator are mounted on specially designed anti vibration pads mounted on base frame. Base frame of DG Set shall be as per OEM rcommendation. The enclosure is designed and layout of the equipment is such that there is easy access to all serviceable parts. Adequate ventilation is provided to meet air requirement for combustion & heat removal. | ||

(b) DG Set dliver required output at the ambient temperature conditions. Suitable for an overload of 10% for 1 hour in every 12 hours of operation. (c) Provided the fast response thyristor type electronic automatic voltage regulator, which holds output voltage within desired limits (+/ 1%). (d) Self excited delf regulate. (e) Suitable for taking rated load immediately after machine reaches rated voltage and speed. (f) Suitable for direct coupling with Engine and mounted on common fabricated sheet metal base frame. (g) Screen protected drip proof enclosure with IP-23 degree of protection. (h) Air cooled type with radial fan mounted on Rotor. (j) Alternator winding and insulation - Insulation class H as defined in IS - 4722. |
