| 2 | Rubberlining by Hot Bonding to 5 mm Thick:
Work Involves: Calendered natural rubber sheets of thickness 2.5 mm suitable for hot bonding, with required adhesives, solvents, curing agents, etc. shall be supplied. Packing, forwarding, transportation, loading/unloading, and storage at the PAP site, FACT-CD shall be done. Old rubber lining shall be removed completely by chipping, grinding, or any acceptable method. Surface preparation shall be done by shot/grit blasting with proper cleaning. Fresh rubber lining shall be done by hot bonding method to a thickness of 5 mm using two layers of 2.5 mm natural rubber sheet as per the scope of work detailed in Special Conditions of Contract, General Conditions of Contract, and specification sheets attached and curing to get a hardness of 70 5 Shore A for pipes of all dia (re rubber lining of pipes of all dia is in this scope), ducts, vessels, tanks and equipment like pumps, agitators, fans, valves etc. Sufficient overlap shall be given. Surface preparation, hot bonding, curing, inspection, testing, safety requirements, etc shall be done as per the attached specification sheet No. 030C of FACT -CD.

| 3 | Rubberlining by Cold Bonding to 5 mm Thick:
Work Involves: Pre-vulcanized natural rubber sheets of thickness 2.5 mm suitable for cold bonding, with required adhesives, solvents, curing agents, etc. shall be supplied. Packing, forwarding, transportation, loading/unloading, and storage at the PAP site, FACT CD shall be done. Old rubber lining shall be removed completely by chipping, grinding, or any acceptable method. Surface preparation shall be done by shot/grit blasting with proper cleaning. Rubber lining/application shall be done with Pre-vulcanized natural rubber calendered sheets to a thickness of 5 mm in two layers of 2.5mm thick each by cold bonding method for pipes, ducts, vessels, tanks, and equipment like pumps, agitators, fans, valves, etc. Sufficient overlap shall be given in all areas. Surface preparation, cold bonding, curing, inspection, testing, site supervision, and safety requirements shall be done as per the attached specification sheet No. 030A of FACT -CD and must also comply with the Special Conditions of the Contract, and the General Conditions of Contract. | 70 | M2 |
| 4 | Removal of Rubber Lining:
Removal of old rubber lining of all thicknesses from pipes, ducts, vessels, tanks, and equipment like pumps, agitators, fans, valves, etc. by any acceptable method in various plants at all heights and elevations. All arrangements for rubber removal will be under the contractor's scope. | 90 | M2 |
| 5 | Grit Blasting of Equipments:
All necessary arrangements for grit blasting shall be done by the contractor. Grit blast as per applicable standards ducts, vessels, tanks, and equipment like fans, agitators, pumps, and in situ grit blasting of attack scrubber fan in PA Plant.
