| 1 | M&L for servicing, chemical descaling and cleaning of condenser of AC Plant of capacity 40 TR, including dismantling of condenser connections, plugging of openings, and providing temporary 15 mm bore tee outlet arrangement for circulation of cleaning solution. The work shall include: (a) Circulation of approved mild acid descaling solution (Scalgun WS or equivalent as approved by GE) through condenser tubes using separate container and pump set. (b) Maintaining pH value of circulating solution at pH 4, with hourly monitoring during operation. Chemical circulation for minimum 2 to 3 hours, followed by flushing with fresh water until pH value of water becomes 7 (neutral). (c) Opening of both end covers after flushing and mechanical cleaning of condenser tubes using nylon brush. Re-circulation of descaling solution if required, followed by final flushing with fresh water. (d) Refixing of end covers, tightening of all connections, replacement of rubber gaskets, washers, nuts and bolts wherever required. (e) Recharging of stored refrigerant up to required operating pressure after completion of cleaning. Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
