| 1 | M & L for comprehensive maintenance including periodical servicing & regular inspection of 400 KVA /320 KVA DG Sets (Make : (i) Greaves Cotton (ii) Kirloskar), by the authorised technician / service engineer of OEM or their authorised service dealer, checking the mechanical and electrical healthiness of the diesel engine and alternator resp., routine servicing of the DG set including cleaning/ replacement of air filter, changing of fuel filter and lubricating oil filter, draining out unserviceable engine oil from engine and refill with new engine oil, cleaning all sludge/deposits in the oil sump (by disconnecting & unmounting fuel tank if required) and removed off the site as per schedule, checking coolant level & topping up to maintain recommended level, filling the starting batteries with distilled/electrolyte water to maintain required specific gravity, replace the u/s brass connectors, including M & L for V-belts, checking of exhaust leakage, mechanical healthiness of governor, breathers, etc, checking of lubricant oil and coolant level after servicing, cheking and adjusting tightness of fan belts for desired tension, nut-bolts to the required torque, etc, cleaning the DG set with agents as prescribed by the OEM and minor adjustment of control parameters, tracing out the defects and replacement of defective spares including taking out the old unserviceable one to keep the DG set in healthy and serviceable state and testing for satisfactory running of DG set for 02 hrs at connected load and recording the parameters viz. RPM, oil pressure, oil temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, frequency, load current, battery charging, fuel consumption, etc complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge at site.
Notes :-
(a) Spare parts, engine oil & coolant will be measured and paid separately under relevant serial.
(b) Apart from these routine servicings, major repair/replacement if any as decided by Engr-in-Charge will be measured and paid separately available within the scope of this schedule.
